No. Turtles are probably the most adaptive creatures on the planet. They are not amphibians, who need moisture all the time. They need to drink water, not be in it all the time. That's why you see them voluntarily sunning all the time. Let him "play" on your bed, however, I'm not sure how you "play" with a turtle, but enjoy it, her, or him, and tell your sis to get a goldfish to play with.

That depends, a turtle is both aquatic and land bearing so with this type of animal there is not an issue.
A tortoise is the same type of animal only strictly water bearing, but can stay out of water for sometime also.
You can tell a tortoise from a turtle because a turtle has feet, where a tortoise has only flippers.

Turtles are amphibious which means they live both on land and in water, if left out he will begin to dry out so don't do it for too long of it might get sick. And it's salmonilla not Somalia, Somalia is an African country!

dont you see turtles walking across the road, there are certain types of turtles they live in water and some types that live on land. You are prob good to go!

no its not true, your turtle will be fine outta water as long as you keep an eye on him while your playing with it..make sure you wash your hands after handling him, I heard turtles carry Somalia
