Well the bleeding hearts of America won't let us. Great idea but President Bush would still find a way to throw money out the door and try and save the world. Kinda sad really when so many here at home are loosing their jobs and people here are hurting.

Because without our direct aid, israel would cease to exist in 5 years.

If we were to do this I think what little help we get in Iraq would be gone. The price of oil would go sky high plus heavy tar riffs on imports.-among a few .

well we could use it to give the working poor adequate health insurance.
Israel does not need our money yet we give that rich nation nearly 7 billion. the subsidized healthcare then would make our products more competitive on the international market

If we give aid, they bomb us. If we refuse aid, they bomb us. Looks like we are screwed either way. We are more powerful and people don't like that one way or the other. Alot of countries think they are held hostage by the money we provide them, but noone forces them to take it.

If the US withdrew aid to countries, these countries would stop importing US products. That would affect our agricultural, industrial and banking businesses. The US economy would suffer.

The rest of the world would accuse us of being selfish and uncaring... no wait, that happens now, so that wouldn't change.

So all we'd do is injure those countries and injure our own economy.

many people would die... thousands more than the thousands that already do...

but you don't really care about people... do you... you only care about what people that you see on the news think...

maybe you should try to go somewhere... see what's out there... you may understand a little better and realize how lucky you are...

They would scream racism!

Oh, wait! They do that anyway. Let's just pull the rug out from under them then. There's no reason not to. They'll hate us either way.

Then the entire world would complain that the USA stinks cause they leave the rest of the world to rot.

Seriously, we're jerks if we go there... we're bastards if we don't.
