IF you have Hotmail it's easy, but don't go mad and try to send TOO many,or you'll have your account frozen.top address line, enter no more than two addresses.
Next line,(Cc),enter three or four.
Then third line (Bcc) also two or three.
Other accounts may be the same,or similar.
DONT SPAM!

dont spam, but technically, it can be done.
first, I have to figure out, you can't do it with any web based email provider service, they have some method to block this action in case be use by any spamer
instead, you have to download a soft can be setup a local smtp server (sending email server)
I recommend Advanced Direct Remailer, it's very easy to use. but not free.
and here is a free one" Free SMTP Server"
then, you can use outlook express or any mail client software, and setup the smpt server as "localhost", so you can send what ever much mail you like.
once again, dont spam, they will ban you if you do so, the only boring person is only you in that situation.

If you have a Yahoo! account, do the following:
Click on the To: link. This will bring up your address book. Place a check mark in the To: column of all the people you wish to send the message to.

If you use Outlook you can build a distribution list within contacts which is easy using cut and paste. If you are using webmail you just need to tick the contacts you want to send the mail to.

The other answers are comprehensive. I just wanted to add that if you would rather that each recipient should not know who the other recipients are, then put your recipients in the Bcc: box rather than the To: box or the Cc: box, and put your own email address in the To: box
