You need to go back to your dr and demand him check you out, It's probably nothing except the baby putting pressure but don't take any chances, if he don't do anything get a second opinion from a different dr. Or go to the emergency room they will check you out there.. When I was 29 weeks pregnant I told the doctor I was having pressure down there he told me everything was fine
one week later I had to have an emergency C-section, my son died 3 days later from not having enough fluid.I they would have induced me and checked me out better he would have still been alive. If you feel something is wrong seek a second opinion

Not only is little darling putting pressure on you, but your pelvis is widening to accomodate little darling's departure from your tummy. Many women report experiencing similar sensations. Unless your pain is accompanied by severe symptoms like bleeding, or suddenly becomes much more severe and sharp, you should be all right. Some women say that sitting in a warm bath alleviates some of the pressure.
Good luck with little darling!

Old gal, I'm with ya. I'm 35 wks & having the same issues. This is my 3rd child & same problems the 2 other times. Went to doctor yesterday & he checked me. Said the baby is sitting low, hips are loosening & spreading. I'm to the point that I need to hold my hand on the wall it hurts so much to work. My partner helps me out of bed on the mornings. I dread getting up 3-4 times a night to go potty. But, I can't wait to see the little guy who has giving me so much pain & discomfort.
Congrats & good luck
God Bless

I am 34 weeks pregnant with my second child and am experience the same lovely symptom. My doctor gave me the same response. He said not to worry it is a combination of carrying low, relaxed muscles and the slowing of blood flow when you lay down (esp. on your back). It is not a problem for you or the baby just a pain in the butt symptom to deal with. From personal experience I suggest a chiropractor... the pain won't disappear completely but when you are all aligned the pain is greatly reduced.

From six months on my hips hurt so bad I cried. Since I carried my baby low I think the hips were pressed out causing pain. I survived and yes I walked like an old woman. Don't worry you will soon be better. good luck

I have the same problem, and I asked my nurse practitioner about it. Her answer was that it is from the baby putting pressure on your veins (blood vessels), and if you lay on your side that just adds more pressure which makes it at times numb and/or painful. So yes, it is a normal thing during pregnancy. Best of Luck

I had the same exact feeling !! Its from the pressure of the baby, but you were right to ask your doctor. Some times it would help to put a pillow between my legs when I would sleep.
