GREAT responses people - you are making it hard for me to pick a best answer. I guess I'll just go with the first one that sort of said it all. Though I thoroughly enjoyed Catnipgir..., bugear001, myke_…., and feel_n_le answers as well. Overall, it really is one of the better-written and entertaining shows on TV. Thank you ALL.

I'm a HUGE Boston Legal Fan. I was really disappointed when they canceled The Practice and was unsure how I was going to like Boston Legal, but Spader and Shatner are just a joy to watch. And until she came to this show, I was NOT a fan of Candice Bergen, but she is wonderful too. I'm so glad the season has started again!

I don't always agree with the conclusions made by the show (it can be a little preachy at times), but this is one of the best written shows on TV. It has very smart dialog, usually has a dramatic theme, but is still willing to have fun and make fun of itself from time-to-time. It definitely makes me think and even better it makes me laugh! The interaction between James Spader's Alan Shore and William Shatner's Denny Crane is what really makes this show great. The rest of the cast is very good. Rene Auberjonois plays a perfect stuff shirt and the addition of Candice Bergen was brilliant. The show was even better the first season when it had Rhona Mitra as the very sensual Tara Wilson, but it holds up well even without her (though I wouldn't mind if she came back!).

Yes I love the lawyers. The doll in the closet will forever remain a classic episode for me. It made Candice Bergan look great, she should have been flattered. Denny is a pig but I like the other one.

I LOVE that show!!!! The teaming of William Shatner and James Spader was ingenious! I LOVE Mark Valley too

Big fan just like you, so would be my friend Dan who got me to watch the show cause he is obsessed with it too.
I wouldnt mind getting a life size model of Alan Shore made for my pleasure either.

I have watched the show since it first came on. Love it!!! Some of the things that go on are hilarious!!! I laugh and cry. Great show, very entertaining!!!!

actually I hate the show. its too much of a combination of seriousness with silliness and sexual innuendo.
