The problem with AOL, Freeserve or NTL, is that if you leave then for another broadband service you will loose your mail account. It's better to have a Hotmail or Yahoo account as you have more freedom to access it anywhere without the need for Outlook or Outlook Express.

Go to hotmail.com... you can sign up free for an email there... its simple and easy!
