It's called hemophobia.
I've heard of people with that fear, so it's not extrememly odd. At least you're not deathly afraid of dolphins like Tyra Banks is, haha.

No one likes to see their own blood. Stabbed myself with a box cutter , went deep into my flesh, pulled it out and blood gushing all over, made me a little weak kneed as do slasher movies and broken bones. Just take a deep breath and sit down. Don't know how old you are but when you have kids you will get use to it. I worked in an operating room for years and other people's blood did not bother me. So is it a phobia or does it just freak you out? And someday a family member may need surgery and you might be a blood match and have to donate for them. May I suggest you go to a blood bank and donate, this might be able to help you get over it.

Yes, there is a phobia and it is actully pretty common. It is called, Hemophobia.
A doctor can presribe medication for it, but you are better off seeking specialist practitioners that will teach you to regain control of your emotions and conquer your Blood Phobia. I have provided the website to one clinic that I know of.

I'm not too bad with other people's although it still makes me a bit uneasy but if I see my own or someone in my family or someone I care about...bang. I hit the deck! My dad went into hospital a few years back with leukemia and I took one look at the tubes on the first visit and passed out cracking my head open on the floor. You're not alone! Unfortunately I'm prone to nosebleeds!

Street Ryda,
Can you read? Get over me going to the ER for a cold after I said a million times it was bc I had a reaction to Dayquil.
I suggest you learn how to read or get your eyes checked or something. You seriously have some kind of problem.
