Communicate honestly

2006-09-20 10:07:07 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

LISTEN to each other - honestly LISTEN not just HEAR. Be willing to compromise and recognize that being right all the time will not make you happy all the time. Sometimes if you are wrong, and it isn't that important (let's face it, does it really matter who was the last person to change the oil?), leave it alone.

Compromise, communication, acceptance. Acknowledging the other person's shortcomings and accepting them goes a long way in a relationship.
