Is Brooke Astor related to John Jacob Astor?

who went down with the Titanic? She's 104 years old, and the Titanic sunk about 95 years ago, so maybe she's his daughter?

She married into the Astor family - probably daughter in law.

I don't know the exact relationship but both are members of the same Astor family. The Astor family is descended from on of the US's first millionaires who made is fortune trading in beaver pelts back in the 1800's.
