Its a smith and wessen shotgun and I was cleaning the barrel, I thought ther were no loads in it. Now I have a bunch of holes in the wall, can I just spackle over it or should I replace the whole board?

I'd replace the entire area. Better chance of it looking good when you're done.

it depends,if is sheetrock or drywall you can spackle,let dry,thensand smooth and paint. if its wood fill holes with woodpuddy,sand then stain it.

save your money for some gun safety classes and spackle over it!

I'd build just a frame to go around it. Then you can tell your friends and family about your "trophy".

Why bother... just hang a picture over it.
