Since your sister gave it to you, I assume that you would be the person responsible for paying for repairs if they were required. You would also be the one responsible if someone were injured in an accident involving that car. Accordingly, then, you should also be the one to get the money when the car is sold.
Having said that, I think you should share a little of that money with the people that hooked you up with the car for free.
