I really like this guy who I met at work and he likes me too. He is a real gentleman, tells me nice things, makes me feel good and is everything that a woman could ever want and need. Only problem is he has a girlfriend and Im not sure if i'm wastign my time with him or not. I really really like him and I havent been this happy in a long time...he also told me that him and his gf are not seeing eye to eye right now but when I'm not with him i'm sad cuz I always wonder if he's with her. I told him how I felt but he just told me that he feels the same way and that I shouldnt be sad cuz im special and so on. Im confused because I want to leave him alone because I feel like I would only get hurt in the end but on the other end I like him soo much and I see soo much great potential in him as my bf. Should I leave him alone?

Absolutely!

He isn't going to leave his g/f...The only reason he said he felt the same way was because he might get lucky!
and
do you really want a guy who flirts with other women while he's suppose to be with you - you'd never be able to fully trust him.
and
You don't get your meat where you get your bread!!

Hold Up! He's got a girlfriend?! He is not a gentleman if he is talking to you and has a girlfriend. From personal expirence, if he is talking to you and he breaks up with her to be with you, then who's to say that if he gets tired of you, then he might find another. He is playing games. Not cool! It's not really a good idea to hook up with fellow employees, because if you break up then the balance in the work place will be all awkward because you won't want to be around him. Seriously... let him go. There are other sweet guys out there, and they DON'T have girlfriends.

You call him a gentleman. He might not be! If he were a true gentleman then he would realize that his actions are causing you to be smitten, and would immediately take self-corrective action.
Although it is in a gentleman's nature to be a likable fellow,he would never allow himself to be seen as "available" to a woman when he is already involved.
But he might also just be a genuinely nice guy that is totally oblivious to his effect on you (and possibly other women!).
But beware! There are dogs out there who assume the guise of a gentleman for purposes that are less than gentlemanly!

My first rule for me is never date a guy who is attached, there nothing but confused, Horny men who just need something different, know he say his gf and him don't see eye to eye well yeah because he meet another woman, you so drama, drama, drama why is hard for him to leave his gf? she is not his wife so it should not be hard, plus people move on if they cant see eye to eye.in a marriage you work it out so is he working it out or what . that's s what you need to ask him. sound like he just want you as the other woman just in case, your better than that never come second always come first.

I was recently in a similar situation, I guy I worked with became one of my best friends, over the past year I fell for him big time. He understood me cared about me and told me as much! He sleeps around a lot and I always knew it would never happen and if it did I would never trust him. I told him this recently knowing it would destroy our friendship so I told him I never wanted to see him again. To my astonishment he got very upset and didnt want to loose me. feeling really bad I wanted to see him, when it came down to it he never came he was infact with one of his many girls while our friendship was ending. MORAL: let go of him he's not worth it if he wanted to be with you he would be now and nothing would stop that, he just like my mate wants to have a backup, dont be that to him because you will get hurt! and ur worth so much more, save ur love for someone who truly loves you!

You should leave him alone immediately. There isn't a future for you all. If he does leave his girlfriend for you you wouldn't be able to trust him because if he's wanting to get with you behind his girl back then he most likely will do the same to you

YOU ALREADY KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION, IF YOU ARE SOMEBODY SLOPPY SECONDS WHAT MAKE YOU THINK YOU'LL EVER BE HIS FIRST......GIRL THE WAY SOMEONE IS AT WORK IS NOT HOW THEY ARE AT HOME AND ALWAYS REMEMBER THERE ARE 2SIDES TO EVERY SAD STORY(LIE) YOU'RE ARE NOT CONFUSED YOU JUST WANT SOME TO TELL YOU THAT IT'S O.K TO SCREW SOMEONE ELSES MAN...DON'T BE BLIND TO RIGHT NOW AND IF YOU HAVE TO WONDER IF HE'S WITH HER YEA HE PROBABLY IS....LIKE YOU SAID YOU TOLD HIM HOW YOU FELT .FOR ONCE LADIES DON'T BE SO EAGER TO TELL A MAN HOW YOU FEEL BECAUSE IF YOU GIVE HIM A CHANCE TO EXPRESS HIMSELF FIRST YOU MIGHT JUST BE SURPRISED AT THE OUTCOME BECAUSE WHEN U SPEAK FIRST HE'LL JUST SAY I FEEL THE SAME WAY 2.......AND WE ALL KNOW THAT'S BULL......

instead of him being with you , he should be with her trying to fix their problems.
and instead of telling you he thinks you are special , he should be telling her things like that.
he isn't getting along with her so he goes to you . getting what he needs from you.
he is using you for his play ground and enjoying the ride.
if he gets back with her he will not be with you,
He is a player and he doesn't deserve you or her.
