Be a man and step up to the responsibility...plus, I've already done that.

Well, I have before - I am the father of three...but seriously, I know what you mean. Guys have to "be a man" about it. Take responsibility for your actions. If you get a girl pregnant, you need to talk with her and decide what to do. It needs to be a mutual decision. Do you abort? That's an option. Do you have the kid and give it up for adoption? Another option. Do you love each other, or were you just bang buddies? That will decide the marriage part. But, once a decision is made between you two, you need to honor that decision. That's what a man needs to do.

I would face up to it because I'm a decent human being. However, I have a step-daughter who has never even met her real father because he ran away. We found out a few weeks ago through the internet that he's been busted for drugs by the police and all kinds of other stuff. So, it really depends on the guy. Sometimes it's good to have them in your life, and sometimes bad.

I did get her pregnant, and I stayed like a man, I am taking care of her, her three year old, and in two months mine. STAY STAY STAY....... and if you don't then you were never worth it in the first place and the child is better off without you. Buck up, be a man, not a boy, and remember they know how to stop these things from happening so if you think $0.50 for a condom is hard to come up with try paying for the doctor's visits just to have the kid. Oh yeah, stay and be a MAN.

G'day Tamara R,
Thanks for the question.
I would face up to my responsibilities as the kids father. If the mother wanted to marry, I would marry her. If not, I would suppport my child as best I could and be the best father I could for him or her.
I try not to have unprotected sex just in case something like that happens. It is different in a committed relationship.
Regards

Well, my husband married me, we were already planning it when we got pregnant, we just moved the date. My sister had two guys run off on her and the second one called an ex of hers and told him it was his child. It wasn't. So I guess it all depends on the maturity of the guy.

Face up, be a man and take responsibility. I wouldn't have slept with her and had sex if I wasn't prepared to do this and follow through.
