Of course the United States has the most dangerous nuclear weapons ever produced on the planet. During this Bush administration they have been producing the weapons currently, when we had signed disarmament treaty's with Russia over the cold war. Bush and this administration are hypocrites to his theory's of nuclear warfare. Iran is 10 years away from having anything that will cause any type of real harm to the U.S.A.. Russia, China, India, and Israel also have the same weapons.

No--but there are some pretty good reasons Iran should not have it.

In most free societies people consider history to be a set of verifiable facts and think those who deny that six million jews died in the Holocaust to be kooks or anti-semites or both. This is one reason.

The president of Iran has called for Israel to wiped off the map. Those of us who do not favor annihilating a soverign country are concerned about a country that thinks this way having nuclear weapons.

In Iran the courts sometimes sentence women to be stoned for committing adultery. Countries that do not stone woman are concerned about Iran having nuclear weapons.

A teenager in Iran was raped by two men. The courts did not believe her and sentenced her to be whipped one hundred times. In socities which do not whip teenage girls there is a concern about Iran having nuclear weapons.

In Iran teenage girls have been hung by the neck from cranes until dead by Islamic Judges for having pre-marital sex. Counties that do not hang young girls from cranes don't want Iran to have nuclear weapons.

Other countries do have nukes, but if they get in the hands of these whackos in Iran or North Korea then the rest of the world will be in trouble.

You're assuming a moral equivalence that doesn't exist. There are good guys and there are bad guys. The good guys get to keep their weapons while preventing the bad guys from having them. It's that simple, and it's an undeniable fact of life.
