In this type of situation it would be best to find yourself another job. You are doing a disservice to the woman you stay with and also to yourself. If the woman is in need of a live-in it is best that the person be committed to her care and not resentful of her needs. Every job is stressful so you also need to decide if the stress caused by this job is just normal or if the job causes unhealthy stress. Also, stress is all in how you manage it and if you have not communicated to your employer that there are undue stressors as part of this job then you also need to do that. Keep in mind Stress happens no matter what the position or the place of employment it is all in how you deal with the stress and how much you allow it to get to you. Your baby is important but so is the ability to care for your child when it is born. You should be applauded in the fact that you care enough to attempt to resolve this issue before it becomes too big and you just walk out. God bless.

If you need a live-in job for the rest of your pregnancy, consider working as a nanny. Maybe children are easier to work with than a stressful older person! Of course, let the family know when you are due so they know how long you can work.

I know exactly how you feel . My patient live-in with me on the weekends only and she stresses me the hell out. Let her know you are pregnant and she has to lay off of you. Let her know all the stress isn't good for you or that baby. Let her know your childs welfare is more important than her right now.

Should have thought about that BEFORE you got pregnant. hmmmm

You could always move out on your own? What about the guy that got you pregnant? He can't afford anything either can he. What a horrible way of life to bring a newborn child in.
