Yes, it does! Yet he continues to apologize instead of standing up for the truth. He sets a poor example for the faithful.

Simply put, no. It is a different culture and they have a different way of expressing their anger. The fact that the angry believers of Islam are not sitting in front of a computer asking a stupid question like this one speaks volumes as to why they feel protests in the street is their way to be heard. The person who said Hitler was right, but just chose the wrong people is the kind of person who creates the root causes of terrorism. You are terrorists, and attacks continue due to a similar lack of empathy in western countries. We were once a young country that protested in the streets for or freedoms, mostly religious. Many other more established countries with other beliefs saw Christians as evil. True followers of Muhammad are not evil, and the prophet brought as much evil to the world as Jesus Christ. Evil things are done in the name of almost all religions, to say all Islamic believers are terrorists or even support terrorism is ignorant and wrong.

The thing is, that's not what he was trying to say. He was trying to start a debate. And it does make the point, because people have been injured in violent retaliations! It would have been a hell of a lot of a better way to prove him wrong by being peaceful about it!
