I am a decent person, a true, faithfull and honest friend. My problem is I seem to attract, losers, users and theives as friends. I have a partner, and he is my best friend, but women need women to talk to. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Yes I do. I think it's because women are so catty. I mean friendly to your face and willing to tear you down behind your back. I'm a nurse so I am kinda smart and kind and do good works yet like you I lack friends of the same sex. My husband is the greatest but that causes problems because women who don't have great relationships don't want to be around me. Wanna talk?

Sounds like you are just desperate for friendship and you end up falling for whoever you come in contact with. You have to be very careful in choosing friends. There aren't many true friends out there. Find someone with the same qualities as you have. Pay close attention to their attitudes, conversation, and their lifestyle. If it is decent then they're not decent.

sometimes it takes a while to find that kindred spirit. don't give up. I have had plenty of friends that have turned out to be not so great. I have only a few that I could trust my heart with. My husband is my best friend, but I agree that women need women to talk to. Good luck!

Yeah, I know exactly where you're coming from. Sadly, some people who we believe to be our friends turn out to be users and losers. It's really frustrating and kind of disheartening when you're a decent person

it's sad to say, but most women are two faced backstabbers to their friends. i feel bad saying that, but being a woman myself, i know how cruel other women can be. i've had my fair share of loser friends, and i tell ya, i have only 2 true friends that are girls. it's all about getting ahead or being better than the other...it's so sad. i'm not like that, but i'm more like you...i always attract people who hurt me in someway. i guess we're just too trusting of others, and too quick to try and befriend someone.

I know the feeling-I have a partner also and sometimes wish there was some female that I can talk to about certain things and not run and tell the whole world...

I used to have that problem when I was young, used to get ripped off left right and centre too!! Just put all this **** you are going through down to experience. I'm 35 now and i can count my friends on one hand but i know they would never rip me off or let me down . Good luck babes.

yes. i don't get along w/ women really at all. they always seem jealous or just too insecure for me (the ones i know, not saying all). i just prefer the company of men (whether gay or straight), i like the attention to! (cause a man can notice your dress, shoes, etc. and appreciate it (or your body if he's straight!) but a girl usually only compares you to herself and is jealous or feels sorry for herself etc. & it is not an honest open friendship, often.
so hang w/ the boys, or buy a dog! lol

yeah, its hard nowadays to get and/or keep good friends, but dont think that there are no decent people in the world, b/c thats not true....it may be hard, but you've got to keep trying - be outgoing - and eventually you'll find a great friend. best wishes!:)
