i hung out with this guy that i like almost everyday for the last 3 months.we are really good friends and he always seemed really into me. he'd come up and hug me all the time and other things like that. i didn't think he'd be like that if he had a g/f. so all my friends said i should ask him out. because he never once said anything about having a girlfriend. so i was pretty surprised when she (his girlfriend) walked up this morning as i was talking with him. i was really glad that i hadn't asked him out because at least now we can still be friends. but why wouldn't he tell me something like that? if he had told me that like 3 months ago it wouldve been nice. then maybe i wouldn't have wasted all my time being completely in love with him.

Because people like to keep their options open... now not to get your hopes up, but he was probably trying to keep you as an option because he is attracted to you but he is just a man... selfish sometimes..... don't waste any more time on this guy though.... he was aware he wasn't telling you and your'e better than being just the backup

Because guys are so shallow. He enjoyed all the attention he was getting from you and you weren't being pushy by asking about a girlfriend..so why shouldn't he have his cake and eat it too?
Next time....ASK.

You also have to blame yourself for not asking him. Ok, he may have lied about it if you asked him, but at least you're not the "victim" of not knowing.
Take some responsibility in your actions for not asking him.
