i would agree with you. but i think you could also call females 14-25 girls. As for females 25+, you could call them women or ladies, whichever you like saying better.

I don't think it's an age thing after the teenage years. A gal becomes a woman when people take her seriously. There are 55+ silly women out there who men refer to as "gals" but people would generally refer to a 32 year old female CFO as a woman, not a "gal".

You're close, and I much prefer "young woman" to "gal," although the word "girl" is also normally used in referring to a young woman. Also, you don't have to be PC and say "lady" over 55.

Baby- 0-2
Toddler 2-5
Young girl or girl-6-12
Adolescent or girl 13-17
Young woman, young lady, gal or girl 18-34
Woman or lady 35-60
Older woman or lady 60-65
Senior citizen or old lady. 65 +

I don't really agree with that.

I believe this:

Baby: 0-2

Toddler: 3-5

Girl: 6-14

Gal: 15-18

Woman: 19-50

Lady: 51 and until she dies

Woman is a state of mind. Im 26, I dont feel like a woman nor do I look like one...I look like a "chick" or "gal". I think you literally become a woman when you want to or start to look over 50.

When she says "no" to a man. lol...there really is no determining this. For example, a girl (or boy) who had an alcoholic father and abusive mother will have grown up much faster than someone who hadn't. Do you get what I'm saying?

However, allot of people say that you become a woman when you get your "monthly visit from aunt Flo"

I think numbers mean nothing. They become a woman when they start behaving like one. They may dress older but just look like a sl*t. They have to earn the status!
