Theres this girl who im not friends with, but that i "know". I guess shes considered popular. Well, it seems like whenver she sees me, she'll say hi to everyone around her--except me. Today, when i passed her in the hall and tried to make eye contact, she said hi to two other people walking past. think shes jealous of me or something?

she says hi to other people really loudly. she'll look at me and then say hi to people that she doesnt even know.

People look down on others to make them feel better about themselves. Almost always these types of people have low opinions of themselves. I wouldn't sweat it if I were you. Hold your head up and ignore her......let her know her opinion of you doesn't matter. If you want, when you catch her looking at you, give her a knowing smile.....it'll drive her crazy!

Ok, are you in High School? Cause this is high school behaviour. The classic snub. It's not jealousy unless yo have something she doesn't and wants.
So, here is the thing to look for, did she try to make a frien dof you at one point and time? Or did she want someone you are with.
Either way, ignore her and it will get her goat more than attempting to make friends. If she wishes to play games, just ignore it. Nothing bothers someone like her than being ignored.

Yes, I believe she is doing this on purpose. I would suggest ignoring her and her behavior. You have more important issues to occupy your mind, energy, emotions and spirit with.
This isn't a pity party but reality; as long as you live, you will run into people like her. . .maybe even worse. Are you going to continue the rest of your life wasting energy on foolishness and pettiness? I certainly hope not.
There are BILLIONS of people on this planet, do not stress yourself over anyone!

Not to sound rude, but maybe she just doesn't like you or feels the same way you do about her, that you don't say hi to her. Why don't you say hi to her and see what she does? If she ignores you still, forget about her it's not worth your time to worry about it, whether she's jealous or doesn't like you. Just have fun, don't worry about her.

I don't know enough about either of you to say if she's jealous, but she definitely seems like a stuck up, rude snob. Girls like her are so not worth your time, nor do you deserve to be treated that way. Just ignore her, but don't act like her because that will just bring you down to immature level.

Why do you care? Her behavior is just rude, her reasons for it are immaterial. No matter what she thinks about you she is not important enough in your life for you to care. Forget she exists. You'll be not only be happier, but if her goal is to insult or hurt your feelings with her actions, your lack of concern will ruin her fun.

Sounds like she has issues. Let it roll. Don't let it bother you because it does sound like she is jealous of you. Next time she does it, laugh and say "Damn, someone didn't see their psychiatrist today!" and keep on walking. She will realize that it doesn't bother you, and I bet she won't do it again.

hey babe. well, there was this girl that i knew, and she used to do the same exact thing to me: she would talk to all of my friends, EXCEPT me. but once i finally started to talk to her (she was in a few of my classes) she told me that she was jealos of me, because i had so many friends! now were best friends though once i got to know her.. maybe you should just ask her straight up why she doesn't talk to you. but if she's rude to you, i would just get over her. she's not worth it if she's like that.

Who cares? Does she pay your bills? Does she do anything for you. She is the one who obviously care so much if she makes it a regular habit to ignore you, so ignore her back.
