no i didnt get into a fight or got hurt. it just happened like 5 minutes ago. the skin under my eye(where people get bags under their eyes) started to itch so i rubbed it a couple times. 5 minutes after that the skin under my eye was swollen. i didnt eat any foods im allergic to. is it because i have a cold or is it because the weather is changing? it looks like a small mosquito bite but its not. and on the very edge on the bottom of my eye, its swollen and looks like a fat line. remember the swollen part is ON my skin not under it. so whats wrong with my eye.

You possibly have answered your own question. With you already having a cold, it leaves your body open to other germs as well. So you probably infected the skin under your eye with your hands....make sure you wash your hands twice as much as you would if you were not sick, germs on your hands can prevent you from getting better...But, you should put something cold on it. If you do, dont put it directly on the infected area, make sure you put something like a towel inbetween your skin and your ice pack. But if the swelling doesnt go down, then you should contact your physician immediatly. I think its because you might hace scratched underneath your eye, and your germy hands may have infected it. I think you will be fine. Also, try rubbing a little bit of carmex on the swollen area. I know that this may sound a lil crazy to you...but the medication that is in carmex helps to reduce redness as well as scaring. try it...you will see...only a little bit thought, you dont want it to make your eye hurt worse.

How to get a realistic black eye. Totally Painless! 1.Wash and dry your skin before you begin. Otherwise, you can irritate it. 2. Smear black eye pencil around your entire eye socket, including your eyelid. Give special emphasis to the area below your eye, nearest your nose. Smudge the eye pencil with a tissue wrapped around your finger for a smoother look. Be sure to let the edges of the "bruise" fade realistically. 3.) Apply a coat of matte, dark purple eyeshadow over the eye pencil. 4.) Add some dark blue or dark maroon eyeshadow to the inner corner of the eye and along the cheekbone. 5.) Finish by blending some yellow or light green eyeshadow at the outer corner of your eye, your orbital bone, and the lower edge of the "bruise". Tips on how to make your black eye look even more realisic 1.) Black eyes are usually caused by an injury on the forehead or orbital bone. For extra realism, add a small bruise there. 2.) The bruise from a black eye is caused by blood draining towards the lowest point (ie, the area between the nose, eye, and cheekbone), so make sure to give extra emphasis to this area when applying makeup. 3.) Be sure to use matte eyeshadow-- sparkles will ruin the effect!

could be a chalazion... A chalazion is a slowly enlarging nodule on the eyelid formed by inflammation of the meibomian glands (deep chalazion) or Zeis sebaceous glands (superficial chalazion). Chalazia are often recurrent.

Pink eye?Allergies? Or a very bad sinus problem. I've had my eye leak like mad from sinus. Sinus clears up, eye does, too. If it gets increasingly red, see the Doctor.

Just use ice and the swelling will go down. Ten years from now you won't even remember today.
