No, I've never had an abortion. My friend did. It was because she had tried to be safe with a boyfriend but she'd gotten pregnant anyway, then he left her and she wouldn't be able to support another child because she'd already had a child with the man she was GOING to marry but he also left her. She couldn't manage with two children. I know she regrets it and I know she feels she had to. It's mixed emotions.

That is a good question. It saddens me to see that people who haven't had an abortion seem to think they wouldn't regret it.
My friend had an abortion four years ago, she still cries about it to this day whenever she thinks about it. The saddest part is while you are considering abortion you think it is the easy way out, but it is a decision that will haunt you for the rest of your life.
There are so many couples out there who can't have children who want to adopt. I am one of them. To anyone considering abortion I would say: if you can't raise a child, there is a better life out there for them, you can make a choice that will make you happy instead of sad when you do it. Brighten the life of a childless couple with your baby.
Life is precious.

Yes I have, I was young and not capable of caring for a child, and no I don't regret it. I can't say I don't think about it or think what life would have been like, but I still don't regret it. It was a tough decision then, but I was young, had no support, no income, no home. I knew having a child would not be the right thing to do. I couldn't afford to take care of it and didn't have the proper mentality to love the child, the way a child needs to be loved. I knew there were more kids in the foster system then foster parents and there was no way of knowing if I had the child, it would be in a better enviroment then my own. Nearly 13 years later I now have a daughter. I gave birth to her, because I knew I had learned what it takes to care for her and love her the way she needs to be loved. I couldn't say that before.

No I have not but I have gone for support with friends before. And let me tell you what, if I ever was raped well now that they have plan b I would take that but if it was too late to take that then yes I would have an abortion with no regrets.

Yes, for my own personal reason and no. I have no regrets in my life. I have found regret to be useless since I cannot change the past.
