I would not recommend using compressed air to start with and the purpose of rv antifreeze is to keep any residual water in the system from freezing and bursting pipes, remember there are always low spots in the system where water could sit even after blowing it out, considering the cost of repairs to a campers pipes whats a few dollars for some antifreeze?

No matter how hard you blow, some water will be left in the low spots in the system and will freeze. Blowing with compressed air may rupture pipes in the system not designed for that pressure, and would probably void your warranty. As expensive as a motor home is, I wouldn't take chances, I would do like the manufacturer says.

If the drain is freezing, you're paying way too lots to warmth the washing room. Your bathe would desire to be chilly as hell once you step into it. putting antifreeze interior the drain will purely artwork until eventually the subsequent time you're taking a bath. The seize is the sole component that freezes; something of the piping is empty. it may be nicely worth a while and rate to insulate the storage ceiling, to that end removing the subject, altogether. you're dropping 1000's of dollars in line with year heating and cooling the storage.

Blow it and then use the antifreeze. I've been doing this for yrs. Only blew it one yr and a pipe burst . I also leave the plug out of the hot water tank till spring . you only need 2 gals of stuff so it's not worth not using
