I agree with the dude on going with M&Ms or beans or a cookie. You could also try those little half marble looking things, they are called worry rocks around here and I know they sell bags of them in the crafts department at Wal-Mart.

im not sure what project u r doing, but i have to make a cell cake and im thinking about using brown m&ms or maybe small brown cookies to represent lysosomes, since they are circular. u may need something bigger, but i would reccomend something circular and brown, since lysosomes contain cell waste.
