*MAJOR SPOILER*

Okay, you apparently need to have the story spelled out for you.

Louis Friend, is Iron Sulfide, fools gold, something that you find when you arelooking for something else.

Louis Friend was a name Lector used to warehouse some of his early kills. When Clarise arrives at the warehouse she discovers that what she is seeing is not about Buffalo Bill but Hannibal Lector.

Hannibal asked her what it is that Bill does, "He covets" and what do you covet first, "That which you see everyday."

Louis Friend was what Hannibal covetted first, or at least where he stored what he covetted first.

This was a clue to Clarise to reexamine the files to determine which body was the first one killed. When she figured that one out then it was only a short step to discovering what was going on. She saw the mannequin and figured out the bit about the flesh suit. She found the jewelry box and figured out that the photos meant the victim knew the killer. The only thing to figure out then is what house the killer was staying at.

I am hoping this is enough. Any more and I might as well just teach you the whole Lector mentality from film one through film four.
