Believe it or not record players are making a comeback. I wouldn't chunk them just yet. I work for an auction company and we have this one person that comes every-time we have records and buys them all. He uses them to make something I can't remember what but he said that he came across a brand new record player in Sears that record players are going to come back in style.

If they're good albums with only minor scratches, try checking out the thrift stores and garage sales for a good used turntable - you might be able to pick one up for a couple of dollars, as the demand is not high - avoid pawn shops, as they will charge much more to recoup their investment.

No. You can use the records for decorations. It looks neat as a border in a room. Or donate them somewhere. Try selling them on ebay even.

I know a guy that takes old records, records them on DVD and sends you the DVD back for a fee.

It depends on what they are.

Most Jazz from the 50's and 60's is highly collectible. Some rock-n-roll from the 70's is also very sought after. Others aren't worth much.

If you have Prince's "Black album" or Trapeze's first album I'll take them off your hands.

Throw them like Frisbees or break them with a hammer. Have a record breaking party.

Yes or either use them to decorate with. What else will you do with them. Unless some are extremely old and a collectors item, I wouldn't save them. Or sell them on Ebay.

Don't throw them out! They are a part of history and should be kept or sold to a antique dealer. Many dealers will buy them from you. There are alot of collectors out there!

not necessarily. you could sell them on ebay they may be valuable! just cause you see stratches doesn't mean it will skip. also if the music is something you like, you can have it transferred to cd.
