an A+ work and the format is excellent.

It is correct but I find the format untidy.
I would miss out the second line, or put a note by the first to say what I'd done.
I don't like the x factor changing sides half way through the homework. Keep it on the same side it will be easier to follow down. At the end, miss a line and write Answer (Underlined) x=7.

It makes it real easy for marking then.
Additionally, we were taught to rule a line across the page after each question, but that could have been for longer questions.

Perfect, the only coment I have is for your second line of work. Instead if writing -8 -8 show that you are subtracting 8 from both sides. Either by actually writting "Subtract 8 from both sides" or showing it mathematically 22 - 8 = 2X + 8 - 8.

This will eliminate any confusion on what happend in the step.

looks perfectly fine. If the teacher is about having every little thing written out, show that you divided both sides by 2, to get the final line of x=7.
