During birth, everyone else was to be quiet, not Katie. It's a common thing in some practices. Less stress on the baby and the mother.

Maybe she is just a quiet person. Tom is such a huge celebrity, he has been around for years. He has been in a ton of movies. Katie Holmes has had a few movies and been in Dawson's creek. Don't know what else to say.

She had a silent birth because of Tom's belief in Scientology. One of the "laws" or however you would say that is that a woman and all the people around her must remain as silent as possible during the delivery so that the baby enters the world peacefully. Even though babies come out screaming, so who knows where this logic came from.

Yes... its a tragic story isn't it. It all involves volcanoes, galactic overlords, "Body thetans", nuclear genocide, and look-a-like DC10s. Now you're wondering if im nuts? All I know is that their relationship is strange. Every since Katie Holes went out with Tom Cruise, she haven't made a movie since. Why doesn't he let her have a career?

I don't think we'll ever know the truth. It's a he said she said situation. I will admit that it's kind of funny that Tom's been married twice before and some of the things that his first wife have said about him. Maybe it's part of Scientology to not talk to much about rumors or gossip. I'm going to be honest with you I don't know. I do wish that somehow the truth would come out.
