This is just another example of a dog biting the hand that has fed him. I will explain, the USA is the country that has been developing their oil fields and their oil production with American money and it's been American money that has helped to build their economy as well. I for one am one American that is tired of giving away so much of our wealth to ungrateful countrys such as this. It is time for America to cut the apron strings to these ungrateful American bashing countrys. Contrary to what the big oil Cos. would have us believe we can stand on our own 2 feet without these countrys oil. We should show them. We also need to go ahead and speed up the research and development and implementation of alternate fuel sources.

He is trying to fuel the Anti-Bush people. I guess that's his approach to getting a seat on the UN. This guy is a p.o.s. It's unfortunate to see Americans support this guy, calling our President the devil. Regardless of who the President is, you're lame if you agree with a foreign leader slinging mud. Chavez is a dictator. How could you be so lame as to side with him, over Bush.

Good question. Take a look at Fidel Castro who headed a revolution and has been in power about 50 years. He sent men like Che Guevara to the countrysides while he stayed in Havana running his mouth and overthrew a CIA-back government.

There is a big lack of edication in most of those 3 world countries. Really could be why they believe like that and is all they know.
But I do wonder if Iran had a sword to his neck converting him to Islam and told him to say that?

Have you heard some of the names Bush has called people-
even those who dont support him, he calls unpatriotic. Doesnt he realize that 1/2 of Americans voted for someone else?

because he can..
actually, i listened to his expressions and he used words reminiscent of guevara and castro during their revolution. he was being expressive as most latinos/ hispanics are when trying to convey a message with sentiment and passion.
he just peppered his speech, is all.
as a side note: when you travel outside of the US, sadly enough, most people hate our country and would agree with some of what pres hugo said. especially if you talk to university students and young adults.. i have been to several central and south american countries.
just like we blame illegal immigration for some of our economic and social woes, they blame OUR Entire country for some of theirs'

he is not acting like a child,he is simply expressing the anger he and his people have after a century of american political and ecomomic domination that has disenfranchised the native american and latin american underclass on behalf of the american and latin upperclass!
