The Sun is just the closest star to Earth, and Earth orbits around it. There are many other, more distant stars that are like the Sun, but they are so far away that they just look like tiny, dim points of light.

If you could describe this silver stuff a bit better. I'm thinking, since you mentioned stars, is it trails? Track like things you see, like those that trail behind comets? Is it like a veil, gauze like and kind of see-thru? Is it like the Aurora Borealis?
No matter. If you are in fact seeing these silver things in the night sky, perhaps you're seeing on a frequency other humans cannot. Much the same way dogs hear things humans cannot.
I don't want to know your town or local address, but I'm curious in what country are you? You said "all my life", how old are you?
Many ppl "see" letters or colors when they hear certain ppl speak. Some claim to "feel" colors clearly associated with certain sounds whether they be from animals or machinery.
I have also read about ppl who claim to have "witnessed", or experienced, a fourth dimension. When asked later to describe it they couldn't find the words. These were college and university graduates in the fields of science, humanities, and security!
Have you tried to take photos of this thing you see?

You didn't describe the silver stuff very well. I know that when I look in the night sky on a clear night from my uncle's house (he lives on the outskirts of the town, so there's no light interference to get in the way), I can see what I would describe as almost a silver hazy ribbon in the sky. Is this what you're seeing? If it is, what you're seeing is actually part of the Milky Way Galaxy as it spins with us in it. I will never forget the first time I noticed it, I had just gotten a new telescope with the help of my uncle (he's an astronomer), and he went out with me that night and was showing me all kinds of really neat things in the sky. If you're refering to specs, they could be any number of things from distant galaxies to planets to moons to stars. Hope it helps!

Do you live in the country away from the lights of towns and cities? If you do, you can see the stars practically as if they were a vast ocean, tiny pinpoints of light melding to form a cloud of light, or distant stars shining almost as brightly as those we are familiar with even in a less agreeable environment, and they stretch beyond each horizon of the sky. The stars are always there, even if we can't see them. Sometimes clouds block good views, but they don't go away. The are "a sea of silver stuff in the sky" as my friend says, if you live where you are lucky enough to see it.

You are very blessed! You are probably seeing beyond the veil. Some special people have this gift, and at night sometimes the ethers are a little more clear, so we can see easier. God bless you. Don't be afraid. Someday you will be able to help other people with your gift.
