YES! 1 pt for each thumbs up u get on a Q that u have asked (max 50-1pointers),
...however NO if ur rating someone elses Q with a thumbs up, u get 0.
So far u have 7 thumbs up, so that will give u at least 7 xtra pts. U made the 5 back for asking w/2 ta spare!
Now, here's tha even betta part, if vote for my A 4 "best answer" u not only give me the wonderful gift of 10 pts, u will make an additional 3 pts, which gives u az a whole an addtional 10+pts 4 ur "asking"!!!!! Works out perfectly!!!!! ;-)

no, they are cheap, and I think if we take time to grade the stupid questions it ought to be worth something for us spending our time on the crap! OK, is that good enough to get a best answer, or do I have to preach some more about the disgusting way we are treated on this site, and how some people cheat like dogs! Yeah, they do cheat on here so they can get way up there real quick, and they don't even grade the answers either!! I have had to get everyone of my points the hard way. I just want to know what is the purpose for the thumbs up, as we already know what the thumbs down and the other stuff is. I would appreciate your vote come election time, as I will try my best to answer all the questions you may have concerning this issue. (kiss) your baby is such a fine looking child! Good Luck!

No. But now when you get chosen best answer, the thumbs up will give you 1 point per thumbs up.

No. People can't rate their own questions and answers unfortunately. I would if I could.

I thought we did if it was chosen as "best answer"--they may have changed it since then.
