I think you have to make your own mind up.
If the place where you are is where you need to be, to secure your dreams of the future, then you need to put your mind to such a task. But if those dreams can wait a while then you should follow other dreams. Perhaps the two will merge together at some point in the future...

I think you should do whatever you feel is right. No one else can really dictate what you feel. You are still living in Scotland, right? I would give mostly anything to live in Scotland.
