That takes me back a few years. The show was "It's About Time" from around the late 1960. Here is a link that has some information about the show.

It's About Time was an American fantasy-based comedy TV series that aired on CBS for one season of 26 episodes in 1966–1967. It's about time, it's about space about, strange people in the strangest place. That is what this show is about. Hector and Mac are two astronauts who break the time barrier and travel back in time to the prehistoric. Gronk is a cave man with his wife Shadd. In the middle of it's run do to low ratings the creators reversed the concept so that Hector and Mac made it to the twentieth century.

The show was called "It's About Time" - I don't really remember it that well, might've starred Richard Benjamin

I don't know, but that reminds me of a Relient K song...wierd.
