Liver is packed with red blood cells which have hemoglobens so it has a lot of iron. Spinach is also an excellent source of iron. You could also take an iron supplement. Usually people who are anemic need alot of iron because they lack red blood cells so they get less oxygen because they have less hemoglobens to carry the oxygen through the body.

Eating red meat and spinach are two of the best ways to get iron into your system naturally. You can take iron supplements if you need to, but most people really don't need them.

eating lots of red meat and leafy green vegetables will increase your supply of iron. Reducing the amount of tea and coffee will help you absorb your iron intake. Also if you cook with a cast iron skillet... flakes of the iron will get into your food.
