The answer to both questions is TOO MUCH! Sorry don't have time too look up the numbers right now, but if you do searches on Annual Tax Revenue, and Yearly deficit you will find what your are looking for.

Believe me, you don't want to know! It's called deficit spending. And guess where it goes? Clue: The oil companies have the largest profits in the history of capitalism. And guess where the Bush family has its money invested. Go figure! Or better yet, don't. Just pretend we still live in the home of the brave and the land of the free. You'll be able to sleep better.

The more you make the more they take out. Personally I have no idea how the figure the actual amount.
Maybe if you contact the White House they might be able to send you a copy of their budget. But most likely they wont.
