Chances are, you have noticed your abdomen has telltale signs that your baby has 'dropped'. With the increased fluid retention, and with the extra weight on your pelvic region - some women experience a very uncomfortable swelling / aching feeling in their vaginal area. Compare the sensation to feeling like you are carrying a bowling ball between your legs.
You are likely finding it uncomfortable to sit - especially for long periods of time. Standing and moving around doesn't help either. You could try an ice pack on the swollen vulvar region - but that will only soothe temporarily. The best remedy for this is to give birth - which should happen within the next couple of weeks!
Good luck!

I have had 2 babies and I know what you mean!!
Itfeels like your insides are going to fall out every time you move!!
I was told it was the baby moving down and just getting ready.
I was really uncomfortable but it only happened to me when I was near to having my babies, I think you should see your doctor just to make sure everything is OK, and take things easy, relax and enjoy the quiet time you have before baby comes, you won't hhave it again!! I hope this helps, maybe by the time you read this you will be a Mum!!!!
Good luck and enjoy motherhood, it's the best thing in the world!
Just be prepared for a bit of pain, remember though as soon as you see your beautiful baby for the first time it is the most worthwile thing you will ever do.

Me too. I am almost 39 weeks and every time I get up and start to walk around I have a ton of pressure, and yes the morning is the worst. This is my second pregnancy and had it with the first except it was worse. It is the baby moving down and into position for delivery.

You are feeling a lot of pressure because the baby is getting ready for childbirth and your muscles are too! Unfortunately there is no way to tell when it is going to happen for you.
Good luck and call the Dr.

Sounds like you're getting ready to have the baby.
I went 41 weeks and 5 days and the discomfort was unreal! My son was 9lbs 5oz and 23 inches long at birth....my poor tiny body was at it's breaking point.

From my experience it is the dropping of the baby. It's the baby getting ready to come through the birth canal. It is natural but some women feel it more than others. I know how you feel. I use to describe it as someone punching me. haha!! Good luck!!!!

your baby is settling down in your pelvic floor. I would be expecting to go into labor in the next week or two. You will be feeling the head rubbing back and forth in your pelvic bones(baby can not get hurt) But this will cause your water to break and you will go into labor. Check out:

congrats
