My best friend is an African American female and she won't even watch the show because she says that 'New York' gives black women a bad name and is nauseating and she is the very definition of ghetto hoochie trash. What do you think? Thank you.

New York is just a disgrace. She does not make me feel ashamed of my race at all. She is making herself look stupid and most black women don't behave like her and the other girls on the show.

I'm not going to lie, I have watched the show a couple of times. I have always liked FLAV. But if he was just a plain guy on the street those girls would not be like that. I don't thing NEW YORK is giving giving the black women a bad name. Some of the black women on the show is giving themselves a bad name.

Honestly in some way the all the idiots on that show have offended someone not only the race but we as women cause no woman in their right damn mind should want to be in comp with any man. Especially not Flava because it is kinda of hard to be attracted to him mentally or physically. Let's be realistic these people are on this show trying to hustle a dollar. Nothing is free!

Ok, I'm not black but I just wanted to say that I don't think your friend should be ashamed to be black because of 'New York.' I mean, Paris Hilton is white and, while I think she's one of the silliest women alive, she doesn't make me ashamed to be white. Of course some ignorant people will judge blacks based on what they see on TV but that kind of people are so hopeless and stupid that you shouldn't worry about them anyway.

For some reason African American females are looked at as ghetto. Not all African American females are ghetto. I will never be ashame of being black, not even her will make me be ashame of who I am and the color of my skin.

Your friend must also include Bootz(the one who does nothing but compare her nasty a** to everyone else's), Buckee(the hoochie who almost knocked Krazy over the rail), and nasty tail Deelishis with the mustache who also is out for Krazy's blood. New York is not the only one I am ashamed of.

I'm not black, but she makes me want to vomit. She's gross, I saw her in person and she has soooooooo much makeup on that she makes Pamela Anderson look like the noxzema girl, and her extensions are disgustingly nasty. And don't even get me started on her feet. She's just plain gross.
