the fact of it is that as one ages the " reward" centres of the brain, associated with sex become less and less responsive to stimulation. Translation: the more sex you have the sooner you'll get bored with it.

I think everyone is likely to get bored with anything we deal with on a regular basis that does not change. One can get bored with food, tv, and sex. When it does this instead of wonder why, we need to get out there and change it for ourselves.
Now if you are not with a partner and you are only dealing with your right hand, get out there and try some new locations. Maybe a public bathroom or something in that line.
If you have a partner, either regular bud, or lover then it is time to find new ways to have fun. There are toys, games, again locations. Try maybe some nude photography.
Without knowing you, and or your partner there is no way I can give you a lot of suggestions, but let your inagination go, and go fulfill those fantasies.

Oh hell yeah .Thats why there are so many different kinds of toys and games you can play during sex. Staight up sex does get boring so spice it up .Role play get handcuffs and anything else that makes you hot. Lotions and gels are a great start the kind that taste good and heat up.

Yes! I got to the point where I just stopped. (I'm in a 2 year relationship and haven't had sex in over a month.)
I've tried spicing it up.. I've tried toys.. I've tried lotions.. I've tried pretty much anything.. I just am bored with it. I think I'm going to join a nun convent or something! HaHa! ...Ok, sorry that would never happen!

I have, so i abstained for several years. It was refreshing to go out without the expectation of hooking up, it made it easier to have a good time. Sex isn't everything, though intimacy is an important part of a relationship, you have to keep it in perspective.

Only as boring as your own imagination.
Yeah, sometimes there are ruts we fall into, that goes with anything that requires creativity. But if you allow your imagination to flow, it can recharge your sex life greatly!

yea. there's more to life than sex... i mean, sure it's fun and pleasurable and all that, but it's not the only form of entertainment. There's the good ol' movies, a theme park, a different city for the day... all that. it's fun to do other stuff.
