Darren R is absolutely spot on. Incidentally, she doesn't have a passport. Nor do her private vehicles need to be registered (which is why they have no reg. plates).

She must have a licence, the roads in Windsor Great Park are public, and she regularly drives on them. Don't know about the watermark though.

I am sure the Queen does have a driving licence and was tempted to say she passed her test during her time in the ATS (Army) but I seem to recall that driving tests were suspended for the duration of WW 11.

HM would have passed her test in the army, so one would imagine like everyone else she holds a valid d/licence.

She does not have to have registration plate on her vehicle though, nor pay road tax as HM is 'owner' of the land, the UK

She has a licence from before she was Queen. In her younger days she served in the ATS (Women's Army) as a driver/mechanic. Apparently she's quite handy with a spanner when she wants to be!

As a young woman she drove frequently. She would have had a driving license then but has head of state she is exempt from all laws and does not need one today.

I have seen the queen drive before, I presume she has to be safe and qualified before they let her lose on the road like everyone else.

I guess she would have too, but I bet she passed first time, who would dare to fail her?? not that it matters 'cos when she's out an about the roads are cleared for her anyway!!
