You should buy whatever color goes with the season. Like for right now, you could put white roses or light pink. when it gets really hot, take some bright colors, sunglowers are also nice. hope you can make up you're mind. My mom also has a hard time choosing flowers for my sisters grave...so she always picks the color according to the season. so yeah, white should do it...

I would take another type of flower other than roses. Do you know what was her favorite type of flower? Take those.
Mums are really pretty this time of year or maybe you can plant some bulbs at the gravesite that will comeup year after year.

I would go with yellow roses, it means friendship. Black is morbid, red is romantic. Did she have a favorite flower? Maybe if in the right area...you could take a mum....they would last longer than roses.

If roses are your choice, you should go with a mixture of White and Peach.
If those aren't available, I'd leave flowers she loved and the colors she loved.

First I read that black roses were appropriate for death but I thought that was morbid. Then I went to this website and found that white roses represent " I miss you" which I think is much nicer. Helenium also represents I miss you

i think you should get pink roses , red roses, and maybe some chrisanthemum. the are flowers that are pretty and big. they look like dandy lions. thank you !!! ROCK ON !! YOU ROCK!! but i really think you should get what your mother -in-law likes that is if you know what she likes.

I don't know what the etiquette book says, but I would choose mixed colors. That always seems appropriate. Red, yellow, white and any others they have.
