they do-- its odd i never even though of that.
Maybe Fat chance means that-- its likely but not as impossible as slim chance..Fat chance instills a wider yet still as unlikely chance that whatever the person wants to do is possible, but slim chance is a bit narrower so Its lesser likely to happen.
I really hope that makes sense ^^

Fat chance means there is no way in he(double-hockey sticks) is it going to happen. And slim chance means what it says, there is a slim chance that something might happen.

Well if it's a fat chance, it's definitely not going to happen. I think a slim chance, still has a chance, a small one.

Yeah, fat chance means that a person shouldn't have any sort of hope at all.
Slim chance is when there is a 50/50 chance that it could work out.

pretty much the same thing... Fat chance is a bit stonger, and usually would mean be a little less likely than slim change.

Fat chance to me means If i was a betting man, I would probably bet against you. Slim chance means I already have bet against you.
