My sister had the treatment done. I think she went in once every month. She had the usual side effects (redness, sensitivity to the sun, etc.) The last treatment was really painful and she looked like she got smacked with a fly swatter :-) Most of the acne scars are now gone and her skin does look a lot better. She looks like the same person but is more confident. She does recommend it but you obviously have to take care of your skin after the treatment since you are still prone to breakouts and will get scars again if you're not careful. Good Luck!!!

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Dermabrasion is a better choice. Get a second opinion, there's too much at stake.
