I don't know about anyone else but I am still so upset about Steve Irwin dying and seeing his poor wife on the memorials last night really brought tears to my eyes. I have been thinking about it so much since he died on September 4. Why is this bothering me so much? I'm a normal person with a job and a family, it is just something I keep thinking about.

how about a different point of view and look at Steve Irwin as a selfish coward who only cared about himself. He has a wife and kid or kids and he continued to risk his life on a daily basis. His work with Wildlife Conservation is all he knew and in my opinion was very important, but there is a way to be involved and make a major impact without risking your life. Now he leaves behind a wife and children who will never know their father.

I think about it every once in awhile, but it's more in terms of the poor kids who will grow up without their dad and the wife who lost the man that she loves. I really feel sorry for them.

Presumptively, Irwin knew the risks and chose to take them anyway. I realize that police, firefighters, soldiers, etc., take risks, too, but that's to protect and save others.

In Irwin's case, it just seems like a very unnecessary way to die and one that will affect those he loved for the rest of their lives.

I'm sorry to see the bloke pass on but he pushed the envelope a tad too much and Mother Nature is one tough gal. I am surprised to see him live this long. Time to move on dude.

Well, it's time to move on. Steve would want you to.

He chose to do a dangerous job, similar to mountain climbers with families who die. maybe they should have done something safer.

Most likely because the media won't do the right thing and let it go. They continually sensationalize it.

I found it hard because my children loved him so much. Its hard to see someone that makes you and your family smile die so young. And yes seeing his family is real hard its like you know them yet cant talk to them to say how you feel.

bowled over that Steve Irwin died is an underestimation... simply by fact the different person stated I sort of theory that he replaced into "invincible". I hate it for his infants. I hate to declare I figured if he did ever bypass it may be by an alligator no longer a sting ray. My condolence to his kinfolk, pals & followers. he would be neglected. gave the impression to be a great guy.

I feel the same way, it's like it's not real or some sort of sick joke.
