Bill Clinotn presided over one of the greatest economic times in our nation. Balanced budgets, high poll ratings, world admiration.

Shouldn't we have a naval ship named after President Clinton?

Imagine.....the USS Bill Clinton fighting terrorists!

Yes. Bill clinton ROCKS!!!! I love your idea.

Bill Clinton was one of the best modern day presidents He governed the country as a Pragmatist, in line with his humble upbringings. He made the unlikely journey from Hope, Arkansas to the White House, showing us all that the American Dream was well and alive. He was a genius with a lofty IQ not a lofty silver spoon in his mouth. He was a human being as well. So he made a mistake, yet he apologized for it showing how humble he is. Being the multi-tasker he is he did a great job while getting a BJ, so what... Yet he remains the BEST president EVER in my heart!!!

Bill Clinton's ship will be the next new aircraft carrier built. The USS Ronald Reagan and the USS George Bush have already been built.

Yes! Clinton deserves at least an entire fleet made to fight terrorists. After all, he lead a great anti-terror campaign that he gets very little credit for. He caught and arrested Ramzi Yousef and others responsible for the attempts on the WTC in 93.

The USS Bill Clinton ... boy does that have a nice ring to it!

I would be proud to serve on that vessel.

President Clinton will be remembered as one of our greatest and smartest presidents.

Lets name a naval ship after one of the most disliked presidents by our armed forces. Clinton slashed our military funding more than any other president in history. Not only that, he and his wife REFUSED to show respect towards our men and women in uniform, with the exception of when the public was watching. It was not uncommon for President Clinton to insult or ignore military personnel. To name a naval ship after Clinton would be a disgrace.

we should name our naval ships that way, but by using greatness as a criteria Bill Clinton would be exluded.

it is interesting to note that if a battle ship was named after Clinton and it was used in the war on terror it would be the first time his name was legitimtly used when talking talking about fighting terror.

It will never happen. The military will not soon forget how he allowed 18 of our servicemen to be murdered in Somalia and how he ran away. The military will not forget how he did nothing when 17 of our servicemen were murdered on the U.S.S. Cole. The military will not forget the dozens of marines killed by the African embassy bombings and the Kobar tower bombing.

He is one of the biggest disgraces of a President we have ever had. The damage he did to the reputation of the Oval Office alone is enough to make him a permanent black mark on our contry. Never again will any foreign representative be impressed by the prestige of the Oval Office. They will forever see it as a sex joke.

Clinton is a coward and vile human being. The military would never honor such scum.

Naval ships aren't used to fight terrorist.

But we should have a weapon named after George Bush. And like Bush its useless and backfires every time you use it.

Could not imagine that as he didn't do it when he was in office. We could call it USS Disgrace and have a picture of clinton on the back of a Tugboat.
