What is your fave song of all time? and why?

Daddy's girl- red Steiner. is problem my most favorite because when I was little I remember call the radio station and dedicating it to my dad when I was about 4 yr. He was a truck driver and on his way home, he heard it and called me as soon as he heard it. I was really special. At my wedding we danced our father-daughter song to that too.

The Futureheads' version of 'Hounds of Love'.
Can't really say it's my favourite song of all time. It's hard to have a favourite song ever there's too much good music in the world.
I love this song though because it is so emotional in quite a subtle way, also it reminds me of being at uni. I like it when you have songs that you strongly associate with a particular time and place (as someone above just said).

I would have to go with my current fave, "House Carpenter" by Hurt. Simply and amazing song both lyrically and musically.

The River by Garth Brooks.
It just kind of tells you to keep it real, keep going, do your best, don't ever give up on your dreams and goals. That song spoke to me and had me in tears the first time I ever heard it.
