Yes, if you live in the house then you have to pay the bill to get service. Just pay and be done with it.

Yes, if you are in the same house. You might be able to try and tell the gas company you weren't living in the house before but that's probably not a good idea.

dont think so...

if your name was NEVER on the bill with him...then you are a new costumer to them and they should turn your service on with no problem. least a few ppl have done that in Ohio not sure how other states look into who is living with who...
