obviously if it is any other day but Monday it's not bank holiday Monday but if I'm catching you're drift then of course when Christmas day and the 26th falls on the weekend to make up for this day there is a bank holiday tuesday(note I said 26th as boxing day is the next official working day after Christmas and NOT the 26th and of course boxing day is a bank holiday therefore this is the only time as far as I am aware that a bank holiday can be on a tuesday.)

Don't give Katie a hard time...you're the one asking a silly question!
Of course not!!! It's a Monday holiday, designated by the banks! It will ALWAYS be on a Monday!

It's called bank holiday Monday because it falls on a Monday. If it fell on a Tuesday it would be called a Tuesday.

Banks cannot be closed for 3 days in a row. By federal law, they must open on Tuesday if there were closed on Sunday and Monday.
This is why most banks open part time on Saturday.

I do believe it did and i think it had something to do with royalty, maybe Charlie and Di's wedding or something. I'll check this out and update later.
