From what I have heard Stihl is the best. I agree with mikehollymorris.

Talking with guys who are in the business of lumberjacking(cutting down trees) they say Stihl is the only way to go. They are the only ones that can stand up to the rigorous duties required of felling trees everyday.

In the top end of the lines, they are all about equal. But if you do not know how to maintain one, sharpen it, how to keep chain oil in it, and how to mix the fuel, stay away from them.
