I don't think its a question about heritage.... it's more about the finacial status of the family... I am Hispanic and it's just my mom and I my sister lives out of town for college. I decided to work myself, when i was 16 and now that i'm 18 i still have my same job but i don't have to work i choose to. I'm a full time student and only work like two three days a week.
so the answere to your question is a simple NO. :)
