maybe her room isnt dark enough?
lavender drops on the pillow help people to relax
get her to have a warm (not hot) drink of milk before about an hour before bed and a slice of wholemeal toast.

Don't go for over the counter sleeping pills, u will get addicted. Go naturally and try home remedies. -Take a glass of milk, sweetened with honey (with or without a pinch of nutmeg) every night half an hour before bedtime. -Take a hot bath or shower at bedtime which will promote sound sleep. -Practice relaxation exercises shortly before bedtime. For more details see below source:

If the problem is constant, then it well may be depression. Tell your mate to try getting massages, deep tissue massage, once a week to start. Hopefully, this will do it.

As daft as it sounds ... hot milky drink and no caffeine just before you go to bed and rather than watching too much TV read a book instead. Sounds like something your granny would recommend, but it DOES work

there could be something bothering her....try and find out ... if this is not the case she could be depressed... try talking to her reassure her that you are there for her. and pills are not the way pet... maybe a bit of relaxation ... burn some nice lavender oils and play some nice easy listening music.. best of luck to you and your friend

maybe she should try hot decaffinated tea and a hot bath before bed. or she could just stay up until she is sleepy. maybe she just doesn't need as many hours of sleep as most people do.

Doctor Stuart's Tranquillity Tea. It's herbal and it ROCKS. Lots of valerian to knock you out...
